Crane Nuclear Valve Institute Media Kit

Latest updates are arriving now

Creating the next generation of valve technicians for the nuclear power industry

The Crane Nuclear Valve Institute offers an alternate career path for recent high school graduates or those looking to change their job to a skill-based career. By offering career technical education through a 6-week program, the students get the knowledge and hands-on training they need to go work in the field right away. Students graduate the program as valve technician apprentices and work in the field at nuclear power plants to gain the experience they need to become a fully certified valve technician. While working seasonally as a valve technician, our graduates can make a full year’s salary in 6 months.
